I was commissioned to make a piece for Australia Remembers, the national commemoration of 50 years since the end of World War 1 and to deliver the Keynote address for the associated Professional Development Seminar, Regional Galleries Association of NSW.
The piece fitted appropriately within my larger exhibition of photograms and chemograms, War Works: Songs of Hope and Trepidation, which addressed personal and universal issues arising from the Nazi Holocaust and beyond.
